Genesis 14:13-15

13 One of the survivors came and told Abram the Hebrew,(A) who lived near the oaks belonging to Mamre the Amorite, the brother of Eshcol and the brother of Aner. They were bound by a treaty with[a] Abram. 14 When Abram heard that his relative had been taken prisoner, he assembled[b] his 318 trained men, born in his household,(B) and they went in pursuit as far as Dan.(C) 15 And he and his servants deployed against them by night, attacked them, and pursued them as far as Hobah to the north of Damascus.

New International Version
13 A man who had escaped came and reported this to Abram the Hebrew.(A) Now Abram was living near the great trees of Mamre(B) the Amorite, a brother[a] of Eshkol(C) and Aner, all of whom were allied with Abram. 14 When Abram heard that his relative(D) had been taken captive, he called out the 318 trained(E) men born in his household(F) and went in pursuit as far as Dan.(G) 15 During the night Abram divided his men(H) to attack them and he routed them, pursuing them as far as Hobah, north of Damascus.(I)
