5 And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I gave my handmaid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: Jehovah judge between me and thee. 6 But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thy hand; do to her that which is good in thine eyes. And Sarai dealt hardly with her, and she fled from her face.
7 And the angel of Jehovah found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.

5 Then Sarai said to Abram, “You are responsible for the wrong I am suffering. I put my slave in your arms, and now that she knows she is pregnant, she despises me. May the Lord judge between you and me.”(A)
6 “Your slave is in your hands,(B)” Abram said. “Do with her whatever you think best.” Then Sarai mistreated(C) Hagar; so she fled from her.
7 The angel of the Lord(D) found Hagar near a spring(E) in the desert; it was the spring that is beside the road to Shur.(F)
