¹¹ You must circumcise the flesh of your foreskin to serve as a sign of the covenant between me and you.^{[a](A) 12} Throughout your generations, every male among you is to be circumcised^(B) at eight days old—every male born in your household or purchased from any foreigner and not your offspring. ¹³ Whether born in your household or purchased, he must be circumcised. My covenant will be marked in your flesh as a permanent covenant.

¹⁰ “No one outside a priest’s family^[a](A) is to eat the holy offering. A foreigner staying with a priest or a hired worker is not to eat the holy offering.

¹⁴ “If an alien resides with you and wants to observe the Passover to the Lord,^(A) he is to do it according to the Passover statute and its ordinances. You are to apply the same statute to both the resident alien and the native of the land.”^(B)
