^8 (A)And I will give to you and to your seed after you, the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and ^(B)I will be their God.”

^22 (A)and the land is subdued before Yahweh, then afterward you shall return and be free of obligation toward Yahweh and toward Israel, and this land shall be yours for a possession before Yahweh.

Devote the Nations to Destruction

7 “^(A)When Yahweh your God brings you into the land where you are entering to possess it, and He clears away many nations before you, the Hittites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Canaanites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, ^(B)seven nations more numerous and stronger than you,

⁴⁹ “^(A)Go up to this mountain of the Abarim, Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab ^[a]opposite Jericho, and look at the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the sons of Israel for a possession.
