² He looked up, and he saw three men standing near him.^(A) When he saw them, he ran from the entrance of the tent to meet them and bowed to the ground.

²⁴ Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him until daybreak.^(A)

³¹ Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the Angel of the Lord standing in the path with a drawn sword in His hand. Balaam knelt and bowed with his face to the ground.
