Abraham said, ‘Please sir, stop here and let me serve you. That would make me very happy. Let us bring some water so that you can all wash your feet. Then you can rest under this tree.

Abraham looked up(A) and saw three men(B) standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.(C)

He said, “If I have found favor in your eyes,(D) my lord,[a] do not pass your servant(E) by. Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet(F) and rest under this tree.
