2 And he said, “See here, my lords, please turn aside and come into your servant’s house, and spend the night, and wash your feet; then you may get up early and go on your way.” But they said, “No, we shall spend the night in the open plaza [of the city].” 3 However, Lot strongly urged them, so they turned aside and entered his house; and he prepared a feast for them [with wine], and baked unleavened bread, and they ate. 4 But before they lay down [to sleep], the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both young and old, surrounded the house, [a]all the men from every quarter;

New International Version
2 “My lords,” he said, “please turn aside to your servant’s house. You can wash your feet(A) and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning.”
“No,” they answered, “we will spend the night in the square.”(B)
3 But he insisted(C) so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house.(D) He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast,(E) and they ate.(F) 4 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom(G)—both young and old—surrounded the house.
