Genesis 19:28-30

28 and he looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the [a]valley, and he saw, and behold, (A)the smoke of the land ascended like the smoke of a [b]furnace.
29 Thus it came about, when God destroyed the cities of the [c]valley, that (B)God remembered Abraham, and (C)sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities in which Lot lived.
Lot Is Debased
30 Lot went up from Zoar, and [d](D)stayed in the [e]mountains, and his two daughters with him; for he was afraid to [f]stay in Zoar; and he [g]stayed in a cave, he and his two daughters.

Genesis 19:28-30
New International Version
28 He looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah, toward all the land of the plain, and he saw dense smoke rising from the land, like smoke from a furnace.(A)
29 So when God destroyed the cities of the plain,(B) he remembered(C) Abraham, and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe(D) that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived.(E)
Lot and His Daughters
30 Lot and his two daughters left Zoar(F) and settled in the mountains,(G) for he was afraid to stay in Zoar. He and his two daughters lived in a cave.
