13 The name of the second river is Gichon; it winds throughout the land of Kush. 14 The name of the third river is Tigris; it is the one that flows toward the east of Ashur. The fourth river is the Euphrates.
15 Adonai, God, took the person and put him in the garden of ‘Eden to cultivate and care for it.

13 The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush.[a] 14 The name of the third river is the Tigris;(A) it runs along the east side of Ashur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.(B)
15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden(C) to work it and take care of it.
