¹⁸Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper as his complement.”^(A)

¹⁸The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”^(A)

¹⁶and said to Him, “Do You hear what these children are saying?”

“Yes,” Jesus told them. “Have you never read:

You have prepared^[a] praise^(A)
from the mouths of children and nursing infants?”^[b]

¹⁶“Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him.

“Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read,

“‘From the lips of children and infants
you, Lord, have called forth your praise’^[a]?”^(A)
