Genesis 2:23-25

²³Then the man said,

“This one, at last, is bone of my bones
        and flesh from my flesh.
    This one is called woman,
        for from man was taken this one.”

²⁴This is why a man leaves his father and his mother and clings to his wife; and they become one flesh.^[a]

²⁵Now both of them were naked, the man and his wife, and they were not ashamed.
