Genesis 2:3-5

3 God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, for on it He rested(A) from His work of creation.[a](B)

4 These are the records(C) of the heavens and the earth, concerning their creation at the time[b] that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens. 5 No shrub of the field(D) had yet grown on the land,[c] and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the Lord God had not made it rain on the land, and there was no man to work the ground.

3 Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy,(A) because on it he rested(B) from all the work of creating(C) that he had done.
