Amplified Bible
4 Now Abimelech had not yet come near her; so he said, “Lord, will you kill a people who are righteous and innocent and blameless [regarding Sarah]? 5 Did Abraham not tell me, ‘She is my sister?’ And she herself said, ‘He is my brother.’ In the integrity of my heart and innocence of my hands I have done this.” 6 Then God said to him in the dream, “Yes, I know you did this in the integrity of your heart, for it was I who kept you back and spared you from sinning against Me; therefore I did not give you an opportunity to touch her.

New International Version
4 Now Abimelek had not gone near her, so he said, “Lord, will you destroy an innocent nation?(A) 5 Did he not say to me, ‘She is my sister,(B)’ and didn’t she also say, ‘He is my brother’? I have done this with a clear conscience(C) and clean hands.(D)”
6 Then God said to him in the dream, “Yes, I know you did this with a clear conscience, and so I have kept(E) you from sinning against me.(F) That is why I did not let you touch her.
