Genesis 21:9-11

9 Sarah saw Hagar’s son playing. (Hagar was the Egyptian slave woman who gave birth to Abraham’s first son.) 10 Sarah said to Abraham, “Get rid of that slave woman and her son. Send them away! When we die, our son Isaac will get everything we have. I don’t want that slave woman’s son sharing these things with my son Isaac!”
11 This upset Abraham very much. He was worried about his son Ishmael.

New International Version
9 But Sarah saw that the son whom Hagar the Egyptian had borne to Abraham(A) was mocking,(B) 10 and she said to Abraham, “Get rid of that slave woman(C) and her son, for that woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac.”(D)
11 The matter distressed Abraham greatly because it concerned his son.(E)
