¹² He said, “Do not reach out your hand against the boy, and do not do anything to him; for now ^(A)I know that you ^[a]fear God, since you have not withheld ^(B)your son, your only son, from Me.”

¹⁶ and said, “^(A)By Myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son,

¹⁶ “For God so ^(A)loved the world, that He ^(B)gave His ^(C)only Son, so that everyone who ^(D)believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.

⁹ By this the love of God was revealed ^[a](A)in us, that ^(B)God has sent His only Son into the world so that we may live through Him.
