8 Abraham said, “God will provide for Himself a lamb for a burnt offering, my son.”
The two of them walked on together. 9 Then they came to the place about which God had told him, and Abraham built the altar there, laid out the wood, bound up Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. [a] 10 Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son.

8 Abraham answered, “God himself will provide(A) the lamb(B) for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two of them went on together.
9 When they reached the place God had told him about,(C) Abraham built an altar(D) there and arranged the wood(E) on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar,(F) on top of the wood. 10 Then he reached out his hand and took the knife(G) to slay his son.(H)
