Genesis 24:2-4
Good News Translation
2 He said to his oldest servant, who was in charge of all that he had, “Place your hand between my thighs[a] and make a vow. 3 I want you to make a vow in the name of the Lord, the God of heaven and earth, that you will not choose a wife for my son from the people here in Canaan. 4 You must go back to the country where I was born and get a wife for my son Isaac from among my relatives.”

New International Version
2 He said to the senior servant(A) in his household, the one in charge of all that he had,(B) “Put your hand under my thigh.(C) 3 I want you to swear(D) by the Lord, the God of heaven(E) and the God of earth,(F) that you will not get a wife for my son(G) from the daughters of the Canaanites,(H) among whom I am living,(I) 4 but will go to my country and my own relatives(J) and get a wife for my son Isaac.(K)”
