21 The servant watched her in silence, wondering whether or not the Lord had given him success in his mission. 22 Then at last, when the camels had finished drinking, he took out a gold ring for her nose and two large gold bracelets[a] for her wrists.
23 “Whose daughter are you?” he asked. “And please tell me, would your father have any room to put us up for the night?”

21 Without saying a word, the man watched her closely to learn whether or not the Lord had made his journey successful.(A)
22 When the camels had finished drinking, the man took out a gold nose ring(B) weighing a beka[a] and two gold bracelets(C) weighing ten shekels.[b] 23 Then he asked, “Whose daughter are you?(D) Please tell me, is there room in your father’s house for us to spend the night?(E)”
