⁹ His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him^(A) in the cave of Machpelah^(B) near Mamre,^(C) in the field of Ephron^(D) son of Zohar the Hittite,^{(E) 10} the field Abraham had bought from the Hittites.^[a](F) There Abraham was buried with his wife Sarah.

³¹ There Abraham^(A) and his wife Sarah^(B) were buried, there Isaac and his wife Rebekah^(C) were buried, and there I buried Leah.^(D)
