11 But Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, Behold, Esau my brother is rough, and I am smooth.

12 My father may possibly feel me, and I shall seem [a]to him as a [b]mocker: so shall I bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.

13 But his mother said unto him, [c][d]Upon me be thy curse, my son: only hear my voice, and go and bring me them.
