Genesis 28:19-21
New American Standard Bible
19 Then he named that place [a](A)Bethel; but [b]previously the name of the city had been (B)Luz. 20 Jacob also (C)made a vow, saying, “(D)If God will be with me and will keep me on this journey that I [c]take, and give me [d](E)food to eat and garments to wear, 21 and (F)I return to my father’s house in [e]safety, (G)then the Lord will be my God.

20 Then Jacob made a vow,(C) saying, “If God will be with me and will watch over me(D) on this journey I am taking and will give me food to eat and clothes to wear(E) 21 so that I return safely(F) to my father’s household,(G) then the Lord[b] will be my God(H)
