²²And this stone which I have set as a pillar ^(A)shall be God’s house, ^(B)and of all that You give me I will surely give a ^[a]tenth to You.”

²²and^[a] this stone that I have set up as a pillar^(A) will be God’s house,^(B) and of all that you give me I will give you a tenth.^(C)”

⁴Now consider how great this man was, to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave a tenth of the ^[a]spoils.

⁴Just think how great he was: Even the patriarch^(A) Abraham gave him a tenth of the plunder!^(B)
