^19 (A)In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread
Till you return to the ground,
For out of it you were taken;
^(B)For dust you are,
And ^(C)to dust you shall return.”

¹⁹ How much more those who dwell in houses of clay,
Whose foundation is in the dust,
Who are crushed before a moth?

⁹ Remember, I pray, ^(A)that You have made me like clay.
And will You turn me into dust again?

¹⁶ Will they go down ^(A)to the gates of ^[a]Sheol?
Shall we have ^(B)rest together in the dust?”

^15 (A)All flesh would perish together,
And man would return to dust.

^7 (A)Then the dust will return to the earth as it was,
^(B)And the spirit will return to God ^(C)who gave it.
