Genesis 32:26-28

26 Then he said, “Let me go, for the day has broken.” But Jacob said, (A)“I will not let you go unless you bless me.” 27 And he said to him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Jacob.” 28 Then he said, (B)“Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel,[a] for (C)you have striven with God and (D)with men, and have prevailed.”

New International Version
26 Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.”
But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”(A)
27 The man asked him, “What is your name?”
“Jacob,”(B) he answered.
28 Then the man said, “Your name(C) will no longer be Jacob, but Israel,[a](D) because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”(E)
