Genesis 32:26-28
International Standard Version
26 and said, “Let me go, because the dawn has come.”[a]
“I won’t let you go,” Jacob[b] replied, “unless you bless me.”
27 Then the man[c] asked him, “What’s your name?”
“Jacob,” he responded
28 “Your name won’t be[d] Jacob anymore,” the man[e] replied, “but Israel, because you exerted yourself against both God and men, and you’ve emerged victorious.”

New International Version
26 Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.”
But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”(A)
27 The man asked him, “What is your name?”
“Jacob,”(B) he answered.
28 Then the man said, “Your name(C) will no longer be Jacob, but Israel,[a](D) because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”(E)
