Genesis 32:26-28

26 The man said, “Let me go. For the morning has come.” But Jacob said, “I will not let you go unless you pray that good will come to me.” 27 The man asked him, “What is your name?” He said, “Jacob.” 28 And the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel. For you have fought with God and with men, and have won.”

New International Version
26 Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.”
But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”(A)
27 The man asked him, “What is your name?”
“Jacob,”(B) he answered.
28 Then the man said, “Your name(C) will no longer be Jacob, but Israel,[a](D) because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”(E)
