Genesis 32:8-10

⁸for he said, “If Esau comes to the one company and ^[a]attacks it, then the company which is left will escape.”

⁹Then Jacob said, “^(A)God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, Lord, who said to me, ‘^(B)Return to your country and to your relatives, and I will ^[b]make you prosper,’ ¹⁰^[c]I am unworthy ^(C)of all the ^[d]favor and of all the ^[e]faithfulness, which You have shown to Your servant; for with only my staff I crossed this Jordan, and now I have become two companies.

⁹Then Jacob prayed, “O God of my father Abraham,^(A) God of my father Isaac,^(B) Lord, you who said to me, ‘Go back to your country and your relatives, and I will make you prosper,’^(C) ¹⁰I am unworthy of all the kindness and faithfulness^(D) you have shown your servant. I had only my staff^(E) when I crossed this Jordan, but now I have become two camps.^(F)
