2 but when Shechem, son of King Hamor the Hivite, saw her, he took her and raped her. 3 He fell deeply in love with her, and tried to win her affection.
4 Then he spoke to his father about it. “Get this girl for me,” he demanded. “I want to marry her.”

2 When Shechem(A) son of Hamor(B) the Hivite,(C) the ruler of that area, saw her, he took her and raped her.(D) 3 His heart was drawn to Dinah(E) daughter of Jacob;(F) he loved(G) the young woman and spoke tenderly(H) to her. 4 And Shechem said to his father Hamor, “Get me this girl as my wife.”(I)
