24 And unto Hamor, and Shechem his son hearkened all that went out of the gate of his city: and all the men children were circumcised, even all that went out of the gate of his city.

25 And on the third day (when they were sore) two of the sons of Jacob, [a]Simeon and Levi, Dinah’s brethren took either of them his sword and went into the city boldly, and (A)slew [b]every male.

26 They slew also Hamor and Shechem his son with the [c]edge of the sword, and took Dinah out of Shechem’s house, and went their way.

24 All the men who went out of the city gate(A) agreed with Hamor and his son Shechem, and every male in the city was circumcised.

25 Three days later, while all of them were still in pain,(B) two of Jacob’s sons, Simeon(C) and Levi,(D) Dinah’s brothers, took their swords(E) and attacked the unsuspecting city,(F) killing every male.(G) 26 They put Hamor and his son Shechem to the sword(H) and took Dinah(I) from Shechem’s house and left.
