24 So all the men agreed, and all were circumcised. 25 But three days later, when their wounds were sore and sensitive to every move they made, two of Dinah’s brothers, Simeon and Levi, took their swords, entered the city without opposition, and slaughtered every man there, 26 including Hamor and Shechem. They rescued Dinah from Shechem’s house and returned to their camp again.

24 All the men who went out of the city gate(A) agreed with Hamor and his son Shechem, and every male in the city was circumcised.

25 Three days later, while all of them were still in pain,(B) two of Jacob’s sons, Simeon(C) and Levi,(D) Dinah’s brothers, took their swords(E) and attacked the unsuspecting city,(F) killing every male.(G) 26 They put Hamor and his son Shechem to the sword(H) and took Dinah(I) from Shechem’s house and left.
