¹⁸They saw him from afar, and before he came near to them ^(A)they conspired against him to kill him.

¹⁸But they saw him in the distance, and before he reached them, they plotted to kill him.^(A)

¹⁸And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him.

²³But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against the Lord, and ^(A)be sure your sin will find you out.

²³“But if you fail to do this, you will be sinning against the Lord; and you may be sure that your sin will find you out.^(A)
