³⁵ Then all his sons and all his daughters arose to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted. And he said, “Surely I will ^(A)go down to Sheol in mourning for my son.” So his father wept for him.

²⁹ If you take this one also from ^[a]me, and harm befalls him, you will ^(A)bring my gray hair down to Sheol in ^[b]sorrow.’

³¹ when he sees that the lad is not with us, he will die. Thus your servants will ^(A)bring the gray hair of your servant our father down to Sheol in sorrow.
