2 The Lord was with Joseph, and he became a successful man and served in his Egyptian master’s household. 3 His master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made everything he did successful. 4 Potiphar thought highly of Joseph, and Joseph became his assistant; he appointed Joseph head of his household and put everything he had under Joseph’s supervision.

2 The Lord was with Joseph(A) so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master. 3 When his master saw that the Lord was with him(B) and that the Lord gave him success in everything he did,(C) 4 Joseph found favor in his eyes(D) and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household,(E) and he entrusted to his care everything he owned.(F)

3 And his master saw that the Lord was with him, and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand.
4 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.
