2-3 (A) So Joseph lived in the home of Potiphar, his Egyptian owner.
Soon Potiphar realized that the Lord was helping Joseph to be successful in whatever he did. 4 Potiphar liked Joseph and made him his personal assistant, putting him in charge of his house and all of his property.

2 The Lord was with Joseph(A) so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master. 3 When his master saw that the Lord was with him(B) and that the Lord gave him success in everything he did,(C) 4 Joseph found favor in his eyes(D) and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household,(E) and he entrusted to his care everything he owned.(F)
