2 And the [a]Lord was with Joseph, and he was a man that prospered and was in the house of his master the Egyptian.
3 And his master saw that the Lord was with him, and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand.
4 So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him: and made him [b]ruler of his house, and put all that he had in his hand.

New International Version
2 The Lord was with Joseph(A) so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master. 3 When his master saw that the Lord was with him(B) and that the Lord gave him success in everything he did,(C) 4 Joseph found favor in his eyes(D) and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household,(E) and he entrusted to his care everything he owned.(F)
