Genesis 39:8-10

8 But he refused. “Look,” he said to his master’s wife, “my master doesn’t think about anything in the house with me in charge, and everything that belongs to him he’s entrusted into my hand. 9 No one in this house is greater than I, and he has withheld nothing from me—except you, because you are his wife. So how could I commit this great evil and sin against God?”
10 So whenever she spoke to Joseph, day after day, he did not listen to her invitation to lie down beside her, to be with her.

8 But he refused.(A) “With me in charge,” he told her, “my master does not concern himself with anything in the house; everything he owns he has entrusted to my care.(B) 9 No one is greater in this house than I am.(C) My master has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?”(D) 10 And though she spoke to Joseph day after day, he refused(E) to go to bed with her or even be with her.
