12 Then Joseph said to him, “This is its interpretation: the three branches are three days;(A) 13 within three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and restore you to your office, and you shall place Pharaoh’s cup in his hand, just as you used to do when you were his cupbearer. 14 But remember me when it is well with you; please do me the kindness to make mention of me to Pharaoh, and so get me out of this place.(B) 15 For in fact I was stolen out of the land of the Hebrews, and here also I have done nothing that they should have put me into the dungeon.”(C)

12 “This is what it means,(A)” Joseph said to him. “The three branches are three days.(B) 13 Within three days(C) Pharaoh will lift up your head(D) and restore you to your position, and you will put Pharaoh’s cup in his hand, just as you used to do when you were his cupbearer.(E) 14 But when all goes well with you, remember me(F) and show me kindness;(G) mention me to Pharaoh(H) and get me out of this prison. 15 I was forcibly carried off from the land of the Hebrews,(I) and even here I have done nothing to deserve being put in a dungeon.”(J)
