13 And just as he interpreted [the dreams] for us, so it happened; I was restored to my office [as chief cupbearer], and the baker was hanged.”

Joseph Interprets

14 Then Pharaoh sent and called for Joseph, and they hurriedly brought him out of the dungeon; and when Joseph shaved himself and changed his clothes [making himself presentable], he came to Pharaoh. 15 Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it; and I have heard it said about you that you can understand a dream and interpret it.”

13 And things turned out exactly as he interpreted them to us: I was restored to my position, and the other man was impaled.(A)

14 So Pharaoh sent for Joseph, and he was quickly brought from the dungeon.(B) When he had shaved(C) and changed his clothes,(D) he came before Pharaoh.

15 Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I had a dream, and no one can interpret it.(E) But I have heard it said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.”(F)
