46 ¶ And Joseph was [a]thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh King of Egypt: and Joseph departing from the presence of Pharaoh, went throughout all the land of Egypt.
47 And in the seven plenteous years the earth [b]brought forth store.
48 And he gathered up all the food of the seven plenteous years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, that was round about every city, laid he up in the same.

New International Version
46 Joseph was thirty years old(A) when he entered the service(B) of Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from Pharaoh’s presence and traveled throughout Egypt. 47 During the seven years of abundance(C) the land produced plentifully. 48 Joseph collected all the food produced in those seven years of abundance in Egypt and stored it in the cities.(D) In each city he put the food grown in the fields surrounding it.
