5 And he slept and dreamed a second time: and, behold, seven ears of grain came up upon one stalk, [a]rank and good. 6 And, behold, seven ears, thin and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them. 7 And the thin ears swallowed up the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, it was a dream.

5 He fell asleep again and had a second dream: Seven heads of grain,(A) healthy and good, were growing on a single stalk. 6 After them, seven other heads of grain sprouted—thin and scorched by the east wind.(B) 7 The thin heads of grain swallowed up the seven healthy, full heads. Then Pharaoh woke up;(C) it had been a dream.
