Genesis 41:51-53

51 Joseph named the oldest son Manasseh,[a] “because,” he said, “God has helped me forget all of my troubles and everyone in my father’s household.” 52 He named the second Ephraim,[b] “because,” he said, “God has given me children in the land where I’ve been treated harshly.”
53 The seven years of abundance in the land of Egypt came to an end,

New International Version
51 Joseph named his firstborn(A) Manasseh[a](B) and said, “It is because God has made me forget all my trouble and all my father’s household.” 52 The second son he named Ephraim[b](C) and said, “It is because God has made me fruitful(D) in the land of my suffering.”
