⁸ In the morning his mind was troubled,^(A) so he sent for all the magicians^(B) and wise men of Egypt. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but no one could interpret them for him.^(C)

²⁷ Daniel replied, “No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about,^(A)

¹⁵ The wise men and enchanters were brought before me to read this writing and tell me what it means, but they could not explain it.^(A)
