Genesis 42:35-37
Living Bible
35 As they emptied out the sacks, there at the top of each was the money paid for the grain! Terror gripped them, as it did their father.
36 Then Jacob exclaimed, “You have bereaved me of my children—Joseph didn’t come back, Simeon is gone, and now you want to take Benjamin too! Everything has been against me.”
37 Then Reuben said to his father, “Kill my two sons if I don’t bring Benjamin back to you. I’ll be responsible for him.”

New International Version
35 As they were emptying their sacks, there in each man’s sack was his pouch of silver!(A) When they and their father saw the money pouches, they were frightened.(B) 36 Their father Jacob said to them, “You have deprived me of my children. Joseph is no more and Simeon is no more,(C) and now you want to take Benjamin.(D) Everything is against me!(E)”
37 Then Reuben said to his father, “You may put both of my sons to death if I do not bring him back to you. Entrust him to my care,(F) and I will bring him back.”(G)
