⁶ Now ^(A)Joseph was the ruler over the land; he was the one who sold grain to all the people of the land. And Joseph’s brothers came and ^(B)bowed down to him with their faces to the ground.

³ Then this Daniel began distinguishing himself ^[a]among the commissioners and satraps because ^[b]he possessed an ^(A)extraordinary spirit, and the king intended to appoint him over the ^(B)entire kingdom.

¹⁰ and rescued him from all his afflictions, and ^(A)granted him favor and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and he made him governor over Egypt and his entire household.
