Genesis 44:27-29
The Voice
27 Then your servant, my father, responded, “You know that my wife Rachel bore me two sons: 28 one went off and never came back, and I know he was without a doubt torn to pieces. I haven’t seen him since he left. 29 But now if you take my youngest also from me and any harm should come to him, the sorrow would kill me. I can’t allow you to condemn this old, gray head to the grave.”

27 “Your servant my father(A) said to us, ‘You know that my wife bore me two sons.(B) 28 One of them went away from me, and I said, “He has surely been torn to pieces.”(C) And I have not seen him since.(D) 29 If you take this one from me too and harm comes to him, you will bring my gray head down to the grave(E) in misery.’(F)
