⁷ So ^(A)God sent me ahead of you to ensure for you a remnant on the earth, and to ^[a]keep you alive by a great deliverance. ⁸ Now, therefore, it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a ^(B)father to Pharaoh and lord of all his household, and ruler over all the land of Egypt.

²⁰ As for you, ^(A)you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about ^[a]this present result, to keep many people alive.
