Genesis 47:3-5
New English Translation
3 Pharaoh said to Joseph’s[a] brothers, “What is your occupation?” They said to Pharaoh, “Your servants take care of flocks, just as our ancestors did.”[b] 4 Then they said to Pharaoh, “We have come to live as temporary residents[c] in the land. There is no[d] pasture for your servants’ flocks because the famine is severe in the land of Canaan. So now, please let your servants live in the land of Goshen.”
5 Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Your father and your brothers have come to you.

New International Version
3 Pharaoh asked the brothers, “What is your occupation?”(A)
“Your servants(B) are shepherds,(C)” they replied to Pharaoh, “just as our fathers were.” 4 They also said to him, “We have come to live here for a while,(D) because the famine is severe in Canaan(E) and your servants’ flocks have no pasture.(F) So now, please let your servants settle in Goshen.”(G)
