9 And Joseph said to his father, “(A)They are my sons, whom God has given me here.” So he said, “Bring them to me, please, so that (B)I may bless them.” 10 Now (C)the eyes of Israel were so [a]dim from age that he could not see. And [b]Joseph brought them close to him, and he (D)kissed them and embraced them. 11 And Israel said to Joseph, “I never [c]expected to see your face, and behold, God has let me see your [d]children as well!”

9 “They are the sons God has given me here,”(A) Joseph said to his father.
Then Israel said, “Bring them to me so I may bless(B) them.”
10 Now Israel’s eyes were failing because of old age, and he could hardly see.(C) So Joseph brought his sons close to him, and his father kissed them(D) and embraced them.(E)
11 Israel(F) said to Joseph, “I never expected to see your face again,(G) and now God has allowed me to see your children too.”(H)
