Death of Joseph
22 Now Joseph stayed in Egypt, he and his father’s household, and Joseph lived one hundred and ten years. 23 Joseph saw the third generation of Ephraim’s sons; also the sons of Machir, the son of Manasseh, were (A)born on Joseph’s knees. 24 Joseph said to his brothers, “(B)I am about to die, but God will surely [a]take care of you and bring you up from this land to the land which He [b]promised on oath to (C)Abraham, to (D)Isaac and to (E)Jacob.”

The Death of Joseph
22 Joseph stayed in Egypt, along with all his father’s family. He lived a hundred and ten years(A) 23 and saw the third generation(B) of Ephraim’s(C) children.(D) Also the children of Makir(E) son of Manasseh(F) were placed at birth on Joseph’s knees.[a](G)
24 Then Joseph said to his brothers, “I am about to die.(H) But God will surely come to your aid(I) and take you up out of this land to the land(J) he promised on oath to Abraham,(K) Isaac(L) and Jacob.”(M)
