7 ¶ Then Joseph went up to bury his father, and with him went up all the slaves of Pharaoh, the elders of his house, and all the elders of the land of Egypt,
8 and all the house of Joseph and his brethren and his father’s house; only their little ones and their sheep and their cows, they left in the land of Goshen.
9 And both chariots and horsemen went up with him, and it was a very great company.

New International Version
7 So Joseph went up to bury his father. All Pharaoh’s officials(A) accompanied him—the dignitaries of his court(B) and all the dignitaries of Egypt— 8 besides all the members of Joseph’s household and his brothers and those belonging to his father’s household.(C) Only their children and their flocks and herds were left in Goshen.(D) 9 Chariots(E) and horsemen[a] also went up with him. It was a very large company.
